My story

From current owner...

Lyla came to me from the animal shelter just after Thanksgiving, where she was being treated for kennel cough. Now she’s up to date on all vaccines including canine flu, and spayed of course. She's about 4 1/2 years old. She is a mix of English bulldog & Boxer, short & thick in frame and very social. Lyla weighs around 55-60 lbs with a big goofy heart. She has that powerful Boxer tail that can hurt if it accidentally whips you in her excitement so watch her love-level around children. She has a tendency to attempt hugging those she has gotten to know. She is house trained, gets along well with people & dogs, is cat curious (looks and leaves) and likes to be physically close to her family. Sometimes too close, she is still learning space boundaries and has been known to nearly knock me down if I’m not paying attention. Lyla rarely barks and she communicates with whimpers and noises that are a mix of grunts & cries. I’m still learning her “language”.

One of her new fur brothers has been bullying her with his high-pitched annoying bark, nipping at her cute paw-paws, and is crazy jealous (shame on him). So my sweetie needs a safer home.
