Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clara is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so she is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Clara and her brother Bruce were saved from a fast kill small town shelter. They are some type of small terrier mixes. Bruce has been adopted but Clara still needs a home. She is now around 7 months old, and only weighs around 20 pounds. Clara is a little shy around new people, but warms up quickly. Clara is very sweet, she loves to lay on your lap and gives kisses. Clara is healthy, happy, active and playful. She loves treats, toys, running, playing and exploring, Clara is crate trained and fairly well behaved in the house. She either uses puppy pads or goes outside to potty. Clara is still a puppy that needs additional training and further socialization. Clara must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Both Clara and Bruce had a lot of hair loss from ringworm when they came from the pound. It took some time to get rid of it and for their fur to grow back The ringworm has been completely eradicated and all of Clara's fur has grown back. Clara is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. She has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Rocky Hill, Lisbon, or Danbury CT.
