Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bruce is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Bruce and his sister Clara were saved from a fast kill small town shelter. We think they are miniature American Staffordshire terrier mixes. They are around 6 months old, only weigh around 20 pounds, and are a very dark brown with white. Bruce is a little shy, but warms up quickly with treats. He is cuddly and gives kisses. He has an adorable head tilt, with one ear up, one ear down. Bruce is healthy, happy, active and playful. He loves toys, running and playing and exploring, Bruce is still a puppy that will need training and further socialization. Bruce must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Both Bruce and Clara had a lot of hair loss from ringworm when they came from the pound. It took a couple of months to get rid of it all so their fur would grow back. The ringworm has been completely eradicated and Bruce's fur has completely grown back. Bruce is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. He has a $450.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport to Strasburg VA or Hagerstown MD.
