Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet little Percy was rescued from the shelter where he was going to be euthanized.. he had been hit by a car and could not stand up.. one of the volunteers grabbed him for us before they got to him that day and delivered him to us in a little box !!
Wven though he was severely injured he still could wag his tail!! We rushed him to the hospital where he could have 24 hr care and once he was stabilized, after 2 weeks of care, we took him to our amazing orthopedist Dr. Payne, who completed 2 surgeries - one on each of his back legs...but one leg had severe nerve damage and Dr. Payne felt that the leg would probably never be usable. He said just to wait and see.. well several months now down the road and we had to amputate that leg this week.
Poor little guy would drag the leg and his paw turned upside down as he did and became infected, and time after time and his poor little foot would swell up, we had an prosthetic made to cover the foot and hopefully prevent it from becoming infected and he hated it..he kept ripping it off and then just decided to eat the straps !! Next we tried.. socks.. no way.. little boots...no way!! He was NOT having any of them on his foot and so the leg had to come off..
He knew best as he is happy and running and playing and doesnt even notice its gone.. He is still the same precocious little chi looking for his new home.. He is approx 3 yrs old and 6 lbs and loves to play and take over all of the new doggie beds. He has a lot of personality, loves people would do better in home with no children under the age of 10 years. He would be good as an only dog or with having buddies to play with. He is coming along on his house training but will need to be taken out regularly to reinforce the trained, and does well on a leash.
