My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there my name is Petey and this is my story… I was dumped at a shelter when I was only 5 months old. I don’t know why and I guess I never will know why. All the people who worked there loved me soooo much. I sat there for several months.. Just waiting for someone to take me home but no one ever did. Eventually the shelter found me a foster and I thought I was finally free! Only a few weeks later she left for the holidays and I went right back to the shelter. My heart broke but I still wagged my tail! After being there for over 5 months there was nothing more they could do… they tried everything.. my number was called for euthanasia. That’s when they made one more last ditch effort and called another local shelter not far away and begged for them to take me into their foster program and find me a home. And now here I am! I am at an awesome boarding facility learning so many cool things! The amazing man who has this place trains dogs and even works with the really scared or mean ones too and makes them happy and nice! I get to go for lots of fun walks and even car rides! I love the walks the best! I just love to hike! They say I am the most affectionate boy they have ever met! Everyone I meet loves me! and that’s all I want. All I want in this world is to be loved and to have a safe place to call home forever. I love to jog, walk, and even hike! Being at this boarding place I got to receive obedience training so I’m super special! I know all of my commands and am house broken! Will you be the one to adopt me? will you be the one to change my life?
