My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone!! My name is Joy and I am looking for my forever home. I am a two-year-old yorkie mix that weighs in at around 12 pounds. I have a very strong personality and I need someone that can keep me in check. I love to snuggle and get lots of attention but sometimes I don’t like to share my person. I tend to be a bit of a control freak and I like to protect my person. I would prefer to be an only dog and I’m not a big fan of cats either. I’m doing great with my housetraining too! I love to play and run around in a fenced yard. I would do best in a home without children because sometimes they make me nervous with their fast movements. My ideal home would be one with an experienced dog person that knows how to handle my protectiveness. If you think you are ready for a little Joy around your house, please send in an email quick to info@ciatn.org.
**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.
**All Compassion in Action dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.
**All Compassion in Action dogs and cats are in foster care in middle Tennessee and will be transported to our drop off sites after their adoption.
