Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trinta! What a beauty! Her name just happens to be the name of the largest-sized beverage at a popular coffee place, and this bigger-than-the-average-German-Shepherd girl is a tall drink.
We truly feel this girl has Great Dane in her due to her body shape, her physicality, and some of her personality traits. She is definitely one of a kind, geing alert and smart, yet easy-going, clumsy and goofy. The German Shepherd/Great Dane mix, we found out, is called Great Shepherd, and Trinta is definitely deserving of being called great.
Trinta is a joy at her foster home. She is great on a leash though she does need to be reminded not to pull when she gets carried away. She sleeps in a crate and loads up into the car on command. She has gotten along with dogs of all ages and sizes and ignores the cat at her foster home.
If you think Trinta is the dog that will make your life complete please read on or go directly to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
