Our beautiful, sweet, most adorable Johnny is ready to begin looking for his forever home. Running at large for over 7 months in Southern Kentucky, Johnny Boyle was finally won over by the love of an amazing family that saved him. After a long trip North to his foster home in MI, getting all vetted, neutered and accustomed to the new "Good Life" Johnny is ready!
What stands out most about Johnny is his amazing ability to love! In just his short time with us he has helped mend several broken hearts. Even more so than our normal fun loving boxers, our deaf boxers seem to have this magical power to read how their people are feeling. They are very "in tune".
Johnny is estimated to be about 5 years old, is crate trained, kitty friendly, kid friendly and he does well in a structured pack environment. He has been learning sign language and will amaze you. We will require a physical fence with Johnny due to him being deaf.

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered if age appropriate.
Boxer Haven Rescue does not adopt on a first come, first serve basis. Potential adopters that contact us with an interest in one of our dogs are reviewed and if they are a good fit, their application is sent to the foster family. The foster family then decides, which family they will contact. It is our goal to put each dog in their forever... perfect home.
