Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Kelly (HWTH#18333A). She is a smallish Labrador Retriever mix, DOB: 1/17/17. Kelly weighs approximately 20 pounds and stands 15 inches at the shoulders. Kelly was rescued from a hoarder in the Antelope Valley along with 16 other dogs. They were all malnourished and have had very little socialization. The volunteers with Halfway to Home are doing their best to gives these dogs the kindness, medical care they need and to do some socialization to prepare them for adoption to loving Forever homes. Kelly is an adorable little girl who looks more like pup than a full grown dog. Although a little timid with strangers, she is very loving and warms up quickly with affection. She seems to have a mellow personality but will probably be more active once she is comfortable in her new home. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, structure, playtime, exercise and training will be a must for this precious girl to help her feel secure in her new environment. When Kelly is thoroughly settled in her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands and the bonding process. Kelly is good with other dogs and is crate trained. For more information on Kelly, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495.
