Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Cricket is a sweet and obedient chihuahua mix who is under 2 years old and weighs a petite 5.5 lbs. She was rescued from a local animal control after being seized with one her tiny puppies from an unfit owner. Cricket's baby found a good home and now she has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready for her forever home too.
Cricket lives in foster with both a large and a small dog and she does fine with both. She, like most chihuahuas, can be a little territorial and nervous when she first meets a new dog, but she settles down quickly and listens to commands well. She reliably uses pee pads to do her business, and she loves to go outside and explore but she gets cold quickly. She has an adorable personality, is not too yippy, and wants nothing more than to be snuggled in your lap.We think she would be fine with older kids who can respect her tiny size and be careful not to hurt her.
Cricket is fully vetted, microchipped, and her adoption includes a month of pet health insurance. To schedule a meeting with her, please fill out our adoption application at www.woofgangrescue.org/adopt
