My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sampson's person died and he ended up in the shelter. He was not well socialized as a pup and he is very confused. He is not aggressive but will growl to show he is stressed, but he has never bitten, snapped or attempted to hurt anyyone. He seems to get along with other dogs just fine, does not like cats, He would like to be a one person dog, but is friendly with others without being overly affectionate. He is a BIG boy, right not 111 lbs without any fat. He is 5 yrs old, neutered recently, housebroken, rides well in a car, and well leash trained. He does get very stressed when crated or kenneled, but does ok if another dog is present He will only be adopted to rescues, professional trainers, or dog handlers, as he has been stressed enough moving from home to shelter to home and back to shelter. He needs out of the shelter as soon as he can, but is not in danger of euth. We are in SOUTHERN NM near Silver City and can help with transport.
