Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Havana, isn't she gorgeous!? She's an easy going, sweet and well mannered kitty looking for her lucky forever folk. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and generally healthy. She's also bilingual! (English & Spanish). What more could you ask for?
She absolutely loves to play, in fact her favorite toy is a ball made of plastic bags and she loves to chase it around like a dog would! She is affectionate with people she knows well, and in the past has been known to sleep at the bottom the bed and even give little kisses if you're very lucky. She loves to lounge around close to you and look cute, but she very rarely solicits cuddles or lap time.
While Havana loves to be close by, and playing with you, she is also pretty independent and can entertain herself. So sometimes she might follow you around, and sometimes she will let you do your own thing. She's a very easy cat!
Havana is sensibly cautious and sometimes a little shy with new people, and she prefers a quiet home environment.
Havana has experienced nothing but indoor love so far in life. Her previous owner Maria found her just over 3 years ago as a very young kitten hanging out in a local store in Bushwick. It was love at first sight, so she brought her home gave her a good wash and lots of love ever since. Maria returned to her home country intending to move with Havana, but sadly and when at the airport Havana was refused right to travel due to an admin mistake with the papers. Maria has made the tough decision to find her a new brilliant and special new home. Since Maria left, Havana has stayed in her home with her roommate in Bed Stuy, who also loves her SO much but is unable to keep her long term.
Havana and her people see the dream home as somewhere a little spacious with people who perhaps have a flexible schedule or even a lovely doggy, meaning Havana would have some company.
Please get in touch to send in your application. Once you have an approved application we can arrange a time for you to meet Havana.
