Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! I am one of six heeler pups (5 boys and 1 girl) that were rescued from Alabama after the unexpected litter from a family's "purebred" Australian Cattle Dog. No one is sure what other breeds we are, other than cute! We were born on December 7th, 2018, so we are staying with our littermates at Found Chicago Boarding and Training Center getting some fun exposure to people, other dogs, and working on our drive development with toys so our new owners will be able to exercise us when we grow up!
My name is Theo and I am a small and smiley pup. I love to nuzzle my handlers' necks when they pick me up and I make a little smile face when I'm happy to see you. I am quite submissive, but active and fun nonetheless. I have good tug drive and an adorable little growl when you get me going! I have some fetch drive, but maybe that's because I love my people so much. I have med.-high food drive and follow a lure well. I like to chase the flirt pole as well, so my trainers think I could make a good agility or flyball companion. I'm a pretty easy going boy when you get to know me. If you are looking for a sport dog, email brittney@caninesandcompany.org for more video of my training.
If you are considering adopting me or any of my siblings, it is preferred that my new family have experience and knowledge of herding breeds like Australian Cattle Dogs. We are not the breed for everyone, as we need consistent exercise and challenge as we grow into adults. Please ensure you are ready for the time and effort a puppy like us will need.
With our adoption fee, you can attend a Found Chicago Boarding and Training course for FREE. Email brittney@caninesandcompany.org with any questions or concerns you have about me or any of my siblings.
