Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NOVA
AVAILABLE FOR: Adoption
BORN: January 2010
SEX: Female
BREED: German Shorthair Pointer
WEIGHT: 107 lbs.
MARL ARRIVAL: January 2018| Nova was surrendered to MARL because her owner could no longer care for her.
BACKGROUND: When this easy-going gal was brought to MARL, we were shocked by her size - she weighed over 120 pounds! Our staff and volunteers have been working with her since, and she's already started to lose weight. Nova enjoys hanging out with her favorite people, playing fetch in the yard and curling up for a mid-day nap (or two). This special girl would do best in a home home where she can remain active and continue working toward a healthy weight. Do you have room in your heart and home for a dog like Nova?
COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Nova has the potential to get along with other dogs. Nova would do best in a home without cats.
MEDICAL NEEDS: Nova is currently overweight and she should be kept on a restricted diet until she reaches a healthy weight.
