My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mario! We re-rescued this sable colored 10 month old male pup and his brother after they were abandoned by their previous rescue at their foster in Texas. Both boys were living in horrendous conditions, grossly underfed and were sick. The previous rescue had promised food and medical care for them but failed and only after one of their littermates died from being undernourished and sickness did the foster reach out for help. We helped without hesitation and now these two are safe and getting the care they need. As Mario was a stray for the first 3 months of his life, he is still working on his potty training. Also because of his rough start, he growth was stunted and he shouldn't get much larger than 50 pounds when full grown. He plays well with young dogs but is still learning to interact with older dogs. Mario is becoming quite the little snuggle bug who loves to be pet. He walks great on a leash and loves to play with toys. Mario is neutered, micro-chipped, current on; vaccines, flea & tick and heartworm preventative.
