My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hollywood is a star in her own right! This incredibly smart and loyal girl is a 2 year old Shepherd and Lab mix. Her adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay, microchip implant, fecal exam, and shots up to date. Although she is 2 years old and has spent the last year and a half at the rescue. She likes other dogs (even lived with a smaller dog). She knows some basic commands like Sit, Paw, Down and our favorite is Pray. She needs someone with patience and understands that a dog needs time to decompress once in a home. Since she is a strong dog, we would recommend her in a home with children over 13 and a fenced in yard to play. Hollywood would be a great foster to adopt candidate. She is potty trained and loves playing fetch.

Please note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
