My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blitzen is 1 year old mixed breed dog with tons of energy. Because of his energy and size, Blitzen would do well in a home with a larger, fenced in yard (at least 6 feet high). He is housebroken and does well on a leash - he does not pull, but could use some guidance when walking.

Blitzen would be best with a family experienced in handling larger dogs. We recommend a home with older children. Blitzen seems to do well with other dogs, exhibiting a gentle curiosity, and would be best suited to a home without cats.

While Blitzen has not tested positive for heart worm, he comes from an area in which they’ve had two positive cases and thus, we’d recommend another test in May. Should any issues arise with this, FOLAS will cover any treatment necessary.
