Meet Tobie!!
If you are sincerely looking for the most stable, sweetest, playful and cuddly little guy then Tobie is the perfect family dog for you! Although this little guy seems to have been homeless for a good time in his life he has the best disposition of any dog you will meet!
About a year ago he was found as a stray and was at the SPCA in Bakersfield where no one claimed him. A family adopted him that had a little girl and had him for a year. But when they moved to a new apartment they found out they could not afford the dog security deposit of $500 and had to let him go.
This family had a little girl and Tobie was amazing with her! He would play with her and jump around, but always very aware of her size. He does love to play but he is also a great snuggler and loves a good walk on a leash. He is the kind of dog that is easily off leash trainable as he already comes when called and does like to stick close to his human.
We and the vet are guessing he is about 4 years old as he is mature but still has good puppy energy. He is in great health, is a good eater, weighs about 9-10 pounds and is completely housebroken. (He does not like to use wee wee pads and is outdoor trained.)
His adoption fee includes his neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, grooming (his photos are pre-grooming), harness, leash, starter food and his bed. An adoption fee applies.
As we pre-screen via email only please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, activity level, work schedule, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home, where Tobie would be when you are out or at work and where Tobie would sleep. If you do not have another dog how you would keep him socialized with other dogs. A home with another dog would be the best but he would also function well as an only dog.
As he is a Yorkie mix (we do not know with what else) he is hypoallergenic and non-shedding with an amazing colored coat this is shiny silver and blonde. He will need to be groomed about every 6 weeks to prevent him from becoming matted.
