Meet Zlata - our tripod warrior queen with the heart of gold!
Life can change in a minute! Who knows that better than Zlata? Right from birth, things did not go in her favor. Birth and life in the street. Abuse. Hunger. Begging for food. And then, when things couldn’t get any worse, disaster struck - she was hit by a car! And she had to learn to run on three legs...
Then came life in a shelter. Cold walls and cement floor in the winter and suffocating heat and humidity in the summer. And again, hunger and loneliness. 3 years passed. But she waited. A kind woman came to visit her and told her about a distant country where another 3-legged girl named Gaby went. The kind lady promised Zlata that her time would come.
And it did! The minute that turned Zlata’s life upside down. She was noticed! They saw how beautiful, smart, gentle, affectionate, kind and obedient she is!
Zlata is now in foster care in Toronto, where for once in her life, she is spoiled rotten, cherished and loved!
She is only 3 years old and weighs 12 kg. A medium sized girl of mixed breed. She is a perfect companion for a family with kids and other pets. Super sweet and gentle. Doesn’t bark. Definitely not a guard dog. Does not like going for long walks but has no issues running around on 3 legs.
She is healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
