Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny and Luuluehue are bonded sisters that need to be adopted together.
They were feral cats trapped in a mobile home park in Wayland, MI who we intended to trap spay and release but little by little they are warming up (especially LuLu) and we want to see them go to a home at this point vs. being released back outside. We can pick them up, they have been to the vet - and one day Lulu started purring away - yep - these aren't feral cats.
Adoption fee is negotiable as we want them to go together and we realize $200 for a pair of cats could be prohibitive. We also want them to go to someone who REALLY understands cats. Penny is very sweet and will continue to warm up - but she also likes to hide and won't seek out attention.
LuuLuehue (pronounced Lulu - this is what happens when you ask your friend's 12 year old to name your cats) is a stinker. She's always all over the place exploring our basement, our upstairs, our main floor, everywhere..... Penny tends to just snuggle in and loves little spaces to burrow. We frequently catch the sisters snuggling together and as such want them adopted together.
Penny has a funky front leg - at one point it was severely broken and healed almost sideways. She may suffer from some arthritis as she ages but for now she gets around just fine on it. She probably won't ever be much of a jumper - unlike her sister who is all over everywhere....
