My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Zoe and I am 12 years old. I am pure-bred Brussels Griffon and my daughter, Aggie, is Brussels/Pug mixed. I'd really like to be adopted with my daughter, she has never been away from me and she isn't as brave as I am. If you know anything about Brussels then you know we are very sensitive dogs and need to be very involved in our humans lives. Our human died recently and now we are in a rescue shelter. I've adjusted but Aggie is kind of shut down and I am the only constant she has. We would prefer to go to a home without other pets because of all the changes recently and our sensitive nature - we need time to bond to a new human and know that we won't be left all alone again. We are also not suited to lively house-holds or harsh people and are standoff-ish with strangers to start.

If you are not familiar with Brussels Griffon's then please do your research first. Aggie is a mix and larger due to her pug dad but I am Purebred and a bit smaller than her, unfortunately we do both need to lose weight.
