Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louie is an adorable Shih Tzu puppy who will be five months old on Feb. 4th. He came into our rescue as an owner surrender, someone who found that a puppy didn't fit their lifestyle. He is healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is on flea/tick/ heart worm preventatives. He weighs 11 pounds and is expected to be about 15 lbs when fully grown.
Louie is full of puppy energy, curious about everything, and chews on shoes and socks but bully bones and cow ears are his favorites! He loves toys, other dogs, and everyone he meets, but he might be too energetic for senior pets. He loves to cuddle, sleep on the bed with you, and run with things in his mouth!
Louie is doing well with house training and uses pee pads very well, and knows that "let's go pee" means he's going outside, but he will need reinforcement and patience in his new home.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
A securely fenced in yard as Louie loves to run!
1-2 smaller and playful dogs
No children under the age of 8.
Someone who has experience with puppies or who is willing to learn
His adoption fee is $400. Please submit an application to be considered for him, and we'll be in touch if we want to pursue your application.
