Here's what the humans have to say about me:
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
Rocky is a 2 year old Pomeranian mix, a very sweet little bundle of fluff! He is a friendly, snuggly pup who loves people. When he first came to us, he was feeling overwhelmed and shy but he has settled in very nicely, just a pup with too many changes in his life recently. We need to weigh him but he is probably around 12 to 15 pounds.
He adores lap time and very much values his loved ones. He enjoys attention.
His foster mom, the lady who brought him to us, said he is good on car rides, good with other dogs, and likes polite children. She said he is not destructive (no chewing on stuff) and is not a barker.
We have found that he does enjoy talking a little when he gets really excited and he does the cutest little howl when he hears squeaky toys. Foster mom indicated that he is generally quiet when in a home setting, but he will vocalize when there is something to talk about.
Rocky is playful, a fun pup. He has plenty of energy when he gets excited but is not a hyper dog since he enjoys cuddles and lap time quite a lot too. He is fine with walking on the leash but needs practice since he initially wants to run with excitement.
He is a happy dog, who often looks like he is smiling.
Rocky is naturally submissive to people. He really is a wonderful and super cute boy who should fit in well in most homes. He just needs a little more real world experience so he does not get scared and shy in brand new settings.
Foster mom said he seemed to be housetrained in her home but he will need to be retrained in a new home setting to make sure he does not think he should leave a little hello mark in new places. Of course, he was not neutered yet when we got him and he should be fine once he has been neutered.
Adoption donation $175.
