My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tito and his sister Julep were discovered (along with their siblings Jasper, Roscoe & Bootsie – see separate post) living in a tiny crawl space between two stoops in Brooklyn when they were about 6 weeks old. Fortunately they were rescued and put into wonderful foster homes where they’ve been thriving and getting along great with the two resident Greyhounds! Now they are nearly 10 weeks old, sweet, playful, healthy, extremely well adjusted, and ready for permanent homes.

Tito is a tiny boy with a big personality. Don't let his serious-looking mug fool you -the smallest of the litter, he’s basically a mush in the making. Once you get him into your lap, he will zonk out within minutes and sleep there until you move him. Tito is going to be one seriously chilled-out, mellow love-bug! He’s still a kitten, though, and loves to chase strings, pounce on his sister, and sneak up on anything that moves. Tito’s foster people think that he and Julep make a good pair and would like to stay together.

Julep is a demure girl, but still pretty daring! She loves to wrestle with her brother and chase toys. She is also very curious and although a little more shy, she warms up to you quickly once you start petting her. Not only is she a great beauty, she’s a fierce string hunter too. Once you scoop her up, she likes being held (especially if there is food involved.) :)

These two kittens are going to grow up to be really relaxed, laid back cats - they are already pretty mellow and sweet. Whoever is lucky enough to take these two beauties home will be blessed with endless entertainment, antics, and love. They're ready and waiting for a permanent home - can you help? If you're interested in learning more about them or meeting Julep & Tito, please email brooklynrescues@gmail.com or call 917-701-0968. Thanks!
