Hi my name is Stella. I am beautiful lilac Great Dane. The first few years of my life weren’t very good, so I take a little bit to warm up to new people. If your patient though, I will be your shadow once I know I can trust you. Since I am a little scared of new people, I need a home with no small children. I’m sure you understand because kids can be scary! I would love a family where someone is home all day so I can be with my person all the time. I get along with dogs of all sizes and don’t mind cats. However, I need to be fed separately and I need to play with toys when I’m alone. Since I never had toys or treats before I was saved, I want them to all be mine and I don’t understand sharing yet. Lastly, I LOVE to run and run and run some more. So I need a fully fenced yard with a 5/6 ft fence.
A letter from my foster mommy :
Stella is the sweetest girl you will ever meet once she trusts you. She does take a little bit to warm up so you have to be patient and go on her time. When Stella came to me, she had never lived in a home so our normal everyday stuff was scary to her. Because of that, you have to go slow with introducing new items/scenarios to her. Stella needs a home with no small children, preferably someone home all day, a 6ft fenced yard, and you must understand no toys or food out when other dogs are around. If you meet this criteria please submit your application. This girl will not let you down once she knows your her human and you aren’t going to hurt her. She will shower you with kisses and follow you around all day.
