Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 2 years
Breed: Mixed Teckel & Lab
Is your dog good with other dogs: No he needs to be an only dog
Is your dog good with cats: No has prey drive
Is your dog good with kids: unknown with smaller children, but good with adolescents
Is your dog house trained: Yes
Is your dog crate trained: yes
Does your dog have any special needs: no,
Does your dog have any or display any aggression (toys, food, people): occasionally will growl at people when outside of the home, especially runners or people on bikes. Like other dogs, it seems to be fear-reaction.
Is your dog playful: Yes
Does your dog like to snuggle: Yes
Does your dog know basic commands: yes
Does your dog know any special tricks: no
Does your dog like to go on walks: loves them
Does your dog have any fears: other dogs
Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed whether in personality or physically: When outside of the apartment, he almost seems like a different dog, often with the fur on the back of his neck raised. If he has been inside for a while, he will sometimes growl and bark a little when no one is around, but is easily/ quickly calmed/ quieted with a command
What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: Cuddly, playful, energetic
In a short paragraph Please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog: Drew is an energetic dog, who despite his apparent fear, loves his walks and seems to need at least 45 min. daily. He is quite quiet in the house, but on his walks would love nothing better than to run. Though he doesn’t like it, he does much better with a Halti than a harness, which gives him too much power. He is also more easily calmed when he sees other dogs on the Halti.
Drew would do best as an only pet and living outside the down town area.
