Meet Gizmo! This #13 Chi/Italian Greyhoundix is a real sweetheart. He was rescued from the busiest of Chicago's animal shelters when he was struggling to thrive. He was scared in the shelter, unsure how to act and overwhelmed by the noise and smells around him. It was going to take special person to make sure Gizmo knew life was still out there and waiting for him.
One of our fosters agreed to take him even though he was shutting down at the shelter. In just hours it was clear the environment overwhelmed this poor guy and he was really was just ready for love! Gizmo has been doing great in his foster home. He loves other dogs and is very affectionate to his people. His foster mom is his favorite.
Gizmo is at our Northern Division and is not available to meet at the rescue. An application MUST be completed first and a meet will be arranged.
