Meet Penny!

Penny is a 6 month old 40 pound pit bull mix who cannot get enough cuddles. She is cuddly and affectionate, and loves to be with humans. As soon as she meets you, she will cuddle right up onto your lap. Penny is loving life since being rescued by her foster family. She is being introduced to toys and playtime, and she is learning quickly to enjoy it all! Penny likes to watch and observe before she jumps in to play. She will do best with an affectionate, patient family. She is a quick learner, and loves praise. She is working very on puppy manners, crate training, and house training. Penny will do wonderful in a family that has the patience to wait for her to gain confidence and teach her how fun it is to be a puppy. A home with an easy going dog or cat will suit Penny just fine.

A Journey Home provides basic needs, including medical expenses at our participating clinics located in Wheaton, Naperville, and Geneva. You supply the love! High kill shelters are overcrowded with dogs and puppies that need our help. More fosters on our team means we can save more lives!
