My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack! He is a 5 year old, 10 lb. brown and white low/medium energy Jack Russell/Beagle blend. Jack is an amazing little guy who survived a terrible ordeal because he had an angel by his side. Jack was attacked by 2 large dogs. His right front leg was badly mauled. To make matters worse, his family abandoned him at the emergency hospital. Lucky for him, the Vet Tech on duty could see what an amazing spirit Jack had. So instead of being put to sleep she became his advocate and saved his life. Three short months later, and one less leg, Jack is back to running and playing just like the old days.

Jack is a friendly out-going boy who wags his tail when he meets you. He loves to go for walks or snuggle in your arms. He also enjoys rides in the car (could be a great RV buddy) or sitting beside you while you read a good book. Jack is house-trained and sleeps through the night. (He prefers your bed over his.) Jack gets along fine with other dogs but would also be happy as an only dog.

Jack has not been around house cats but does not seem to have any aggressive tendencies toward the barn cats at his foster home.

He is looking for quiet home with someone who understands his minor limitations, loves his sweet kisses and no small children. Also, no homes with flights of stairs or pools, please.

When you look into Jack’s eyes, you will see what we all see – a kind loving boy who will give you tons of love for years to come.

Jack is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org or phone 707-529-4643 or email: adopt@3rrescue.org.
