Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is a 3 year old black lab/german shepherd mix. She is an owner surrender that had a rough start with us and needed emergency stomach surgery for bowel blockage. They found many plastic bags that had been blocking for months. She has now made a full recovery and has been spayed. This girl is such a love bug. She is an indoor/outdoor dog that would do great in a home where she has her own access to the backyard. She loves her people and is great with kids of all sizes. She is very active and could use another dog similar in size to play and run with. She would also do well with people who love to take their pets on outdoor adventures such as hiking, running and other activities that are dog friendly. She is potty and crate trained. She loves sleeping on the big bed but will settle for a bed next to the big bed. She is good with most dogs but she does love to rough house with her dog friends so we recommend dogs 15lbs or more. She weighs approximately 55lbs and has to eat a special prescription diet food for another 5 months that is prescribed by vet. She is extremely food motivated but because of her stomach surgery she cannot start having other food and treats until she has completed her prescription food cycle then it must be introduced slowly. She loves chew toys and stuffies. We also recommend she not be left home for long periods of time without another pup or human around or confined inside a house without access to outside as she can get a bit anxious and chew/eat things that may not be safe for her. She has been doing great at her foster home where she stays with multiple dogs. As long as she stays active consistently and receives much love and attention she has no craving to chew.
