My story

Paprika was rescued from a rural kill shelter where she had been brought in with her littermates and mama. The particular shelter where she found herself was small with virtually nill walk-in adoptions. To make matters worse, they were full up so the entire family found themselves on the euthanasia list. Fortunately for them, a man affiliated with the shelter got them out before this was slated to happen; however, he needed help finding them homes so FFAR took all of them. The kittens had ringworm and this took quite a while to get them over, but they are now healthy, ringworm-free and ready for a forever home to kick off the holidays. Paprika is a female orange tabby, rare in that most orange tabby cats are male. She is a super sweet little lover that spends her evenings parked on her foster mom's lap purring. She is adorable and sweet. She gets along with kids, cats and dogs. Fill out an application and bring this little love home today!

UPDATE: Paprika was adopted out with her sister, Saffron, and recently returned. The reason was, "My pregnant daughter is moving back home and she is allergic." So they are back in foster care, a bit older but still under two years of age, and looking for a forever home.
