This boy is another amazing dog with a story we will never know…but we can help write his next story! Somehow, Chopper made it out of a high-kill shelter in California up to another facility in Oregon and finally to Washington. He is ready for his forever home.

Chopper is a smart, intelligent boy who would do best with an experienced dog handler and someone who loves the working breeds and training with them. He has proven that he can be around other dogs of similar size, but it is important to properly introduce them and realize that some dogs may not work with Chopper. Chopper’s potential has barely been tapped and he is sure to be a loyal boy.

Chopper is about 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. We do not know what his mix is, but would love to do a DNA on him—he almost looks like he could have some Rottweiler in there as well. Whatever the mix, he is one cool dog.
