Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otter was found stray at Marion and Jackson 1/2 Block from Lincoln Park in Grand Rapids, MI.
Found Date: 1/20/19
Name: Otter
Gender: Neutered Male
Breed(s): Siamese - Dark Tan - Short Hair
Age: Adult
Weight: Large - 10lbs+
Microchipped
Otter ran into a home when the weather turned cold - he has been seen stray in the neighborhood for at least three months. Very vocal. Friendly. Gigantic. Handsome - he is a beautiful cat.
Adoption applications are available at www.moshpitrescue.com.
Otter is FIV positive. He is looking for a single cat home or a home with other FIV positive cats. FIV is not easily transmitted between cats and is not transmittable to humans - it is somewhat similar to human HIV. Other than ensuring that there is no fighting and biting, most cats with FIV can live happily with one or two other cats and never spread their virus. Otter must be an inside only cat and must remain current on all vaccinations over his lifetime.
Here is more information on adopting a FIV positive cat.
