Zack is a 3-year-old neutered male black lab. Zack weighs 82 pounds and is up to date on shots. Zack is bonded with Max and the two must be adopted together.
Zack and Max are friendly and like to be with you and be petted. They take turns being the boss but Zack is now the first to chase after a toy, they both will bring it back. They love to play. They are bonded and will let you know when one is not close by. They love to go swimming and used to get out of their pen so they could go to the river and go swimming and exploring the swamp. They would like to have a family that is active, has a fenced yard, and can give them love, attention, training and exercise so they will thrive.
They are approved for kids 6 and up as they have lived with 6 and 10 year olds. Good with other dogs, have been out with other Lab Rescue dogs with no problems. Cats - lived with an outside cat who would sometimes come into their dog house and sleep with them. Knows sit, come and sometimes down. Pull on lead when walked together both want to take the lead. Better with an Easy Walk Harness. Have only been in crates at the vets and during transports but did well in them. probably house trained as they are keeping runs clean at kennel. As his weight shows Zack will steal Max's food so they should be fed separately.
UPDATE: This beautiful bonded pair of brothers are the whole package! Very well behaved, house trained, did well on leash, and great in the car. Zach is a little more high energy while Max is a bit more laid back. Both love attention and take treats gently.
