COURTESY POST: Mara was found abandoned in the National forest. She is a high energy girl who loves to go on hikes and walks. Mara is a sweet girl and loves to get cozy on the couch. Mara gets along well with cats and has gotten along well with a medium size male dog, however she is a dominant female and should be the only female in the home. Mara is not use to very small children or dogs. . .she would do best in a home with school age kids 12 years and up and possibly a male dog buddy. Mara has been cared for by the couple who found her, due to conflict with their female dog, Mara needs placement or new foster in near future.
