Hi everyone! My name is Rumer and I am looking for my best friend for life! Let me tell you a bit about me!
My mom, Mia, my sisters Tallulah and Scout and I were brought to our foster home by the wonderful people at Purple Paws 2nd Chance Rescue. They drove all the way to North Carolina to get us! We were only 6 weeks old and very scared, but they promised they were taking us to a safe place... and they were right! When we arrived in Fredericksburg, my sisters and I were brought straight to our foster home. At first, we were all very shy, but over the last few weeks, we have learned so much from our human and dog fosters! All three of us have become happy, affectionate, silly puppies who know that we are safe and loved and cared for. But enough about that... let me tell you about me!
My foster mom calls me her Rumer-Boomer because she says I’m like a sonic boom of energy! I am feisty, smart and really enjoy new things! I think that I would be happiest with a human that plans on taking me on lots of adventures! I love being outside... sometimes my foster mom has to chase me around the backyard to catch me and bring me inside lol. The only thing I like as much as I like going outside is FOOD! OMG HAVE YOU EVER HAD ANY?!? IT IS SO GOOD. PLEASE DO A SHARE.
Once my day is over and I’ve played and run and ate and pooped, I want nothing more then to snuggle up with my foster humans and foster dog dads. Maybe one day soon, I’ll get to snuggle up with you!

(Side note from the foster mom: Rumer is an absolutely wonderful little girl and has brought so much love into our house! She is spunky and always providing laughs! She is working hard with her potty training and is learning to use door bells to let us know that she wants to go out. She does a really good job using potty pads too. She loves adventures and going places... the world is hers to explore and she intends on checking out every last inch! While in our home, she has done beautifully with both my child, his friends and my two dogs, but please keep in mind that she is a puppy. Sometimes she gets over excited and plays a little to hard, however she easily follows correction and redirection. She will benefit greatly from being in a home with a strong leader as she can be stubborn, but more often then not, she is highly obedient and learning fast.
