Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
On January 4, 2019, we pulled Nala straight out of hell. She came from a breeder cruelty case that shook the entire breeder, rescue, and Dept of ag to its core. Nala was only about one year old and living with over 250 shepherds living knee deep in crap and only a few dog houses for all those dogs having to fight for food, nasty water, being beat with shovels, bred to death and their bodies and bones being tossed to rot. We were there... the stench and horror.
After years of neighbor complaints... she was finally arrested, the inspector fired, and our work began.
Covid hit which really slowed down the judicial system and being related to the major... well we know how backwoods politics and passing money goes... corrupt.
Court day finally comes but at this point, the breeder is dying from cancer. A slap on the wrist for her that tortured these babies for profit. I pray God makes her atone because Georgia politics did not.
Our beautiful red head Nala was adopted on 10/4/19. Her owner died, the son took over and did NOT give her the care she needed. Nala came back to us on 9/6/2022. I was LIVID that she had not seen a vet since she left. Luckily her vet checkup went great.
We adopted her out again on 11/21/2022 to the most wonderful lady and her husband. Our girl got the most love ever!!! She loved that her new mama was home all day and really bonded with her.
Sadly, her mama passed at the young age of 40. It was unexpected and crushed our Nala and her dad.
Sadly, it crushed our girl and her dad that did all he could but Nala was not having it. She bonds to women.
So Nala is back. She is fully vetted, heartbroken, and has tons of luggage. She needs a woman that works from home and will love her always. Nala is a six year old house trained red shepherd that desperately needs forever love. Please help us place her in the best place so she does not live out her life in a rescue. Please!!! She deserves so much more.
