My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparkles was found tied to a stake in the middle of a field without food or water!  How cruel!  She is safe now. At some point she must have had a home and owner who cared about her, someone who would never have treated her so badly.  She already knew "sit" and "down."  And when loaded into the car, she jumped right in and put herself into the plastic kennel.  Sparkles is 3-4 years old and weighs about 32 pounds.  After spending a morning with a trainer, Sparkles was walking well on the leash by the trainer's side.  Sparkles is treat driven and easy to work with.  She maintains great eye contact while training and wants to please.  She likes to be near people and when left alone will cry briefly and then settle down.  She needs a little work on not jumping up, but she keeps a clean kennel.  She was given a Nexgard on 12/9/18 and has had two DHPP shots, one on intake and another 12/31/18.  She is waiting for a new and loving family to decide to take her home!
