Charlie is an almost 3 YO spayed female white and gray parti mini schnauzer who weighs 20 lbs. She is house-trained and crate trained. She is a lapdog and loves to cuddle. She rides well in the car. Charlie loves the snow and to play ball!
She has never been exposed to children so should not go to a family with children or grandchildren. She does guard her people from other pets in the house, so should be an only pet.
Charlie is really barky with visitors and does not always settle down without having to put her in her crate. She needs to be crated when no one is home. She is not suited for apartment/condo living.

Please be sure to keep a watch on your Spam and Junk folders if you don't see a response in your email inbox. If you've already applied, please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com to be added to the list of those being considered. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed/neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees.
We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility to visit our rescue schnauzers. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and southern Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of our areas of coverage, which includes Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and eastern West Virginia.
