Hi I'm Chucky! I am a 10 month old short legged, long bodied mutt, and although I'm a short guy, I have a HUGE personality! I haven't had a lot of exposure to the great big world, and strangers intimidate me, so I need a parent that will advocate for me and not let people invade my space too quickly. As long as I feel safe, I am a funny, goofy, playful guy! I love fetch, taking walks, and when my foster mum pets me I roll over so I can have a belly rub, as those are my favorite!! I am potty trained, and sleep well in my crate, it's my safe space when life is ruff. If you want a fun, loyal friend, consider adopting me!!!
Chucky is UTD on vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, given flea and tick prevention and has been fixed. This furbaby is currently being fostered in Roselle, IL and would love to find a furever home! If you can't adopt, please consider a donation care made directly to the rescue via paypal or contact us at info@rescuewarriorscorp.org. We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 48 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
