My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teebo looks like a cairn terrier mix. He is approx 2 yrs and 17 lbs. He is a really sweet dog. He does walk with an unusual gait, we had our vet take x rays and he has some old fractures in his legs and pelvis, probably from being hit by a car.

We had our orthopedic surgeon evaluate him and he said that he really could not correct the fractures as they were older and had healed. He was not in pain and they do not affect him but he would probably always have an odd gait to his back legs. He has a great personality, gets along with the other dogs, is quiet and well behaved. He loves to run and play, does well on a leash and seems to be pretty well house trained, we have attached a video for you to see him walking.

OUR RESCUE POLICY: We require a home with children older than 12 years old and experienced dog owners only.

The total adoption fee of between $525 and $650 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
