Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tiger. He is 9 years young and weighs a too-chubby 13 lbs. Tiger is being fostered in Bradenton, FL..
INITIAL BIO 01/18/2019: Tiger was sadly surrendered today by his owner who has had him since he was only 7 weeks old. She was no longer able to care for him due to her own medical needs and wanted Tiger to have a family who could love him forever and ever. His former owner said that Tiger is a golden bundle of love who will be a joy to an active and young family.
Tiger is an active adult dog and loves to go on walks, which will be crucial to help him get to a healthier weight. He enjoys meeting new people and wants to sit on everyone's laps when they come into his home. Tiger would love to have a fenced-in yard so that he would have the freedom to run around to his heart's content. He is well-trained and understands most everything that is said to him by his human. He previously aced his training issues and BONUS - he is house-trained as well. His foster parents will be working with him on his frequent barking issue and also teaching him that eating from the table is a big no-no.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Tiger has always been the only dog in his home - he likes it that way. He has never been around cats, so a home without other fur-babies would be best for this sweet little man.
- Tiger would love to have a fairly active family to call his forever family. He would do best in a home with children older than 14 years old.
