My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DogName is a ##-year-old neutered male yellow/chocolate/black lab. DogName weighs ## pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION Jingle & Jangle are great pups they are full of joy and want to share having fun with you. Neither one of them seems to be the boss, they take turns. Both like to play with toys and sometimes bring it back but a lot of the time play keep away. They get along with the other dogs they have been out with and like to play chase. They would like a family that has a yard so they can play and get exercise. Either Jingle or Jangle will bring a lot of joy to the family that adopts them. They are siblings but will be adopted separately but must go home with another dog. Good with other dogs. Knows sit working on down and stay. Will have a Training Addendum as they are young pups. They haven't been on lead much but are learning. Crate trained. Jingle and Jangle were given up as owners were moving and could not take them to their new home. They are very friendly and love attention were good with other dogs at the shelter. They are a little shy when they first do something new but after that they are fine.

Adopters must meet these requirements:
Setting: Rural, Suburban
Dwelling: Single Family Home
Fencing: Needs fence either physical or underground.
Training Addendum

Jingle & Jangle are from a rural area and has not been exposed to traffic, noise, or groups of people. If dogs are overwhelmed by their environment, they can exhibit behaviors like excessive barking. To avoid this, for now we are limiting placement to stand alone single family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. As we learn more from the dog's time spent in foster, we will evaluate if placement can be expanded to include a more urban environment and send out an update.
