My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maisy is a sweet mixed breed dog who is still waiting for her perfect home. She would do best in an active household as this girl has energy for days! Runs, playing fetch, hiking you name it. Maisy is alright with her doggy foster siblings but prefers the humans in the house. She’d love a female owner as it takes longer for her to warm up to men. We’re not sure if something may have happened to her in the past at the hands of a male. Maisy also would like a home with no small children to due to her high energy. We’d hate for her to get rambunctious and accidentally knock a over a child. She’s currently working on her socialization skills as some things scare her and make her bark resulting in her sounding mean although she isn’t. She knows commands like sit, lay down, off etc. She’s also quite good on a leash. Maisy is not a fan of sharing things like toys but her amazing foster mom is working on this too.
