Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JACK IS EASY, EASY, EASY!!!!!Our sweet Jack came to us through no fault of his own after his families living situation changed. He is about 10 years old and appears to have a lot of the German Shepard breed and maybe so Border Collie in there too, its hard to say. But what we do know about Jack is that he is 100% AWESOME!!!! The ONLY thing in the world that Jack cares about is being with his person. He will lay on the couch with his person for weeks on end if that is what they want to do. However, he still has plenty of energy to take walks and adventures. Jack is house trained and had perfect house manners. He doesn't bark and doesn't jump. Jack would be fine in most households, and would even be fine in an apartment or condo. Jack LOVES to be petted. He will ever so gently put his head under your hand if you quit petting him for you to continue. Jack is currently being fostered in Tennessee, but can be transported to the DC, NY, and New England area to a approved adopter. Please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com and you will receive a auto reply with the link to our online application. The link to the application is also listed on this page above.
