My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kobi is enjoying some play time with the toys. He's learning what are toys and what are not. He's a very energetic 5 month old catahoula mix that is available for adoption through Mending Hearts Rescue in Rockford. This little boy is about 35-40 lbs currently but will probably be about 60-70 lbs when fully grown. He will always be active and need a family that will help him keep busy. Catahoula's are not for everyone. They are absolutely gorgeous yet very smart and they problem solve to get what they want. They need a home that can anticipate his never ending brain power and energy. Kobi is respectful of kids but will knock over the littles. He's good with other dogs but is 110% puppy. He needs a dog that will parent without aggression. He's still a bit of a jumper and is learning basic commands. He loves Kong's, Wubba's, squeaky toys, and is vocal when he plays. He responds well to redirection and thrives on pets and hugs. Kobi is fully vetted meaning he's already neutered, microchipped, it's on rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordatella. Kobi is housebroken. Adopion will require a home visit and meeting with all family members.
