My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amigo came to us from Berkeley County Animal Center. 

We do not know much about his history. BAC Contacted our group asking for help as Amigo had been hit by a car unable to stand and needed immediate medical treatments.

We had him transported to Veterinary Specialty Care in Mt Pleasant SC where they did exams and X-rays.  He did have several broken/fractured bones in his pelvis.  They stated that due to where the fractures and breaks were that surgery wasn't an option that he would have to heal on his own. 

And that... He did!! This boy has such an amazing spirit. After a lot of physical therapy here at the farm, and under the careful watch of a vet, he continued to improve. 

He is now healthy and ready to find his forever home!  He is good with other dogs, though he likes to be the one in charge.  He loves children and every one he meets!  Amigo is just like what his name is, he will be a true friend and companion for someone just looking for a buddy to hang out with!  He doesn't require a ton of exercise. He prefers just to hang out with his family and relax!
