Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is our 10 - 11 month old lab mix pup. She weighs 60 lbs. now so she will be a large dog
Lucy gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Lucy is your girl. Super sweet too
She loves to snuggle and just be with you, and LOVES to give kisses. She is also very playful and full of energy for a nice hike but is very good inside.
If you are interested in giving Lucy a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.
Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589
The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Lucy's adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover her spaying, 3 sets of puppy vaccinations, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
Lucy has had a recent heart worm test & she is heart worm negative.
ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Lucy is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to her new family once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available every Saturday in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT. We use PETS, LLC to take the dogs to their new families. www.petsllc.net
There are monthly trips to the Chicago area to bring the dogs that have been adopted to the Illinois & Wisconsin areas to their new families. The next trip scheduled is end of February 2019.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort
