My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rescue Story: I had a great home for the past 6 years but unfortunately due to life changes I am on the search for a new family.
Date of Birth: 2011
Energy Level: Medium-High
Size (adult): Small
Good with Dogs? YesI've successfully lived with other female dogs in the past, but can be selective with some pups at other times or when I want my space. Lets have a meet to make sure we all get along.
Good with Cats? No
Good with Kids? YesI am good with dog savvy kids who respect my boundaries.
Critter Twitter: Apparently I've reached senior status, does this mean I qualify for a discount at the pet store? Despite being classified as a senior, I'm still young at heart. I don't let anything slow me down. I am very smart and still have ample energy to play. However, I also love to cuddle up next to you on the couch while we nap or read a book.
About my Behaviour: I am house trained and crate trained but my foster family gives me free roam of the house. I sometimes can be a bit snarly with other animals if they don't respect my boundaries. Can you blame a guy? Although this has never escalated past a couple growls I do best when redirected with treats or toys to focus my attention elsewhere. I have a tendency to bark so would appreciate if my new humans were not in an apartment or condo so I don't annoy the neighbours. I just can't help but sing for joy when I get excited.
How’s my Health? I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. I get a little dizzy sometimes and fall down. With the help of some doggy specialists they diagnosed me with Vestibular Syndrome. This causes me to sometimes have episodes where I loose my balance. Even though I may occasionally fall down, I don't let it keep me down. Fall down 7 times, get up 8 am I right!?
