My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cam is a very loving boy. He is a big chocolate lab who absolutely loves to be near you. He will stick his head in your lap, he loves affection. I have had him around my other dog (a mix retriever who was a rescue last year) and though they were fine together; Cam didn’t have much interest in another dog. He solely wanted to be near his human. Cam has adjusted to playing with toys, he would specifically prefer that YOU give it to him so he knows he is allowed to play with it. He listens to sit, lay down and get back. When he is told to go to his bed to lay down he obeys very well. Though he has some hesitation still with his confidence, most likely nervous from his previous living situation.

Cam is house broken and will hold it while at work for an 8 hour day. He eats quite well and doesn’t slobber or drool, he is a neat boy. He hasn’t whined or barked since I’ve had him. A real quiet, gentle giant. Cam would be best with an owner who wants to pet often and be followed around, though is content laying in his bed. He has a little eye goop situation that he is taking ointment for. He also has some hair patches from his previous living situation that don’t affect him in any painful way. He reminds me of a reindeer with his size and long strong legs and paws. Almost like there’s a little Great Dane in him. Outside and inside are both enjoyable to him as long as he is near his owner he is a happy boy!
